Oh. I thought that one of those Republic gunships was the OG model released in the 2000's. I believe that included the rare "generic" Jedi Knight minifigure.

Nah, they're both 2008 Gunships... I was considering paying top dollar to get an original Gunship just before this much-improved version got released = I'm very glad I waited! Haha, yeah he's called 'Jedi Bob' in the minifigure encyclopedia. I'm not really sure what Lego were thinking... it's not like there's a shortage of characters to choose from in the Star Wars universe! :D

I think it's because LEGO didn't have the technology to make the moulds of characters like Aayla Secura, Kit Fisto and Shaak Ti at the time.

It was? How about 7153. Good friggin luck. Even at $50 it must have flown.

I got really luck with mine... the local Toys 'r' Us had them priced wrong, so I got mine for 24.99 = I'd actually gone to the store to get the Falcon (4501) but they didn't have any, so I picked up Slave 1 as a consolation :D

Crap. I paid $34 for Jango alone. Ehh the ship is a little too big for my shelf anyway. However I do wish I had the red and yellow interceptors. I used to have Ep3 Anakin but I sold him. I think I had two. I had a bunch of figures, but like an idiot I sold them off. Now here I am, again, for the second time trying to buy the stuff back.

I'd imagine they will do the Interceptors again sooner or later = I'd love to get the red one! :D

They keep making the figures more detailed which ruins it for me, and they keep making the sets with less parts. Set 9494 has holes in the wings!

I want the original "Ultimate Space Battle" with the classic ships and figures. This new stuff is no where near as cool. Why do you think I bought Jango Fett. :)
