I love this picture! It brings back that nostalgia of playing with Lego's and being obsessed with Star Wars as a kid! Love the creative and simplistic approach of this photo.

Nothing looks quite as menacing as the Dark Side army lined up, I'm working on my very own army but it's gonna take time with them constantly updating trooper type minifigs.

To this day the very first AT-AT still looks the best. I'm considering buying the new one though although it doesnt look all that impressive, and the price! Never ever had the chance of ever buying the previous ones, so it might just be a novelty for my younger past self.

What are your thoughts on the new old-trilogy sets that just arrived?

Thanks! Yeah, I agree the original AT-AT is way better than the subsequent 3 sets... 99% of the time the newer versions are much better sets and are more screen accurate. The newer AT-AT in this shot has its legs mounted 2 studs higher than in the instructions in an attempt to make it closer in size to the original AT-AT... it's still a fair bit smaller in comparison.

I like the new 2014 sets, but I've already got a Star Destroyer, 2 AT-ATs and 2 B-Wings and I don't really have the display space or toy money to get duplicates. I love the new Mos Eisley set, the minifigs and new dewback are awesome, and I'm probably going to try and get the Hammerhead and new R-A7 minifigs from the Jedi Scout Fighter. I'm surprised they've redone the Stormtroopers, Snowtroopers and AT-AT Drivers so soon... I think I'll wait for Battlepack sets rather than trying to get them individually - I think that's your best bet for army building, it's certainly the cheapest way of doing it. Good luck! :D
